This registration ensures these specific types of technology and their associated data, or ITAR data, are securely tracked at all times.

NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Compliant – Refers to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) security standards. The focus is on protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) wherever it is stored, transmitted, or processed. Leading Edge Metals & Alloys maintains regulatory compliance with these cybersecurity standards.

ROHS Compliant – Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS) restricts the use of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic products.

CMMC Compliant – Self-assessed compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) designated cyber security requirements ahead of the 2027 certification audit-readiness deadline.

WEEE Compliant – Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) addresses the disposal and recycling of electric and electronic equipment.

REACH Compliant – Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) ensures that the production and use of chemical substances and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment are addressed and maintained to code.

DFARS Qualified – Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS) ensures that specialty metals are melted in the United States or a qualifying country.
